Advanced and beginner drones from DJI

A drone is a fun remote controlled toy to play with. You can approach it as a hobby photographer, videographer, or remote controlled device enthusiast. The ease of use on drones these days make them approachable for even novice users. Although they are easy to use, it still takes practice to learn how to have a safe flight without crashing or damaging anything. For this reason, we recommend the "fly more combo" versions to allow for extra flight time and accessories included.

Battery life on drones are generally short 10-50 minutes. You will want to have extra batteries on hand and remember to charge them the night before a flight since they drain power quickly to preserve the longevity of their capacity (DJI calls this "intelligent flight battery").

Any of these drones will shoot 1080p and 4k video, and push it more depending on the specs. You can usually find a higher frame rate at the 1080p and 4k resolutions as well. This is helpful for slow motion or smoother flight shots.

When deciding on a drone, either go with what's in your budget, or what specs you need. Drones lose their value fast since the device space has a rapid growth right now.

DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo

Our current top pick is the DJI Air 2S drone. It features a 1" CMOS sensor which produces amazing quality, even in a night scene. It's still a relatively small drone, feeling more like a Mini than a Pro. You can get some big savings when this model pops up in our top deals.

DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone

The latest edition of the Mini series, this drone is a good mix between a smaller size but quality features. This is the only drone to offer vertical camera shooting, which is a unique feature not found elsewhere yet.

DJI Mini 2 Drone Fly More Combo

The DJI Mini 2 is a small, lightweight drone great for beginners or sneaky flights due to their small size and lower noise. The camera is quite basic, but looks great for a 4k camera. This was our first drone and for the price and ease of use, we'd recommend it to any newbies. Additional batteries can be purchased for a decent price.

DJI Avata FPV Drone

This is more of a specialist drone for first person view (FPV) shots. FPV drones are built to perform more technical flight patterns which makes them not ideal for beginners.

The Avata is the newest FPV model from DJI making FPV drones more approachable. We haven't got to play with it yet, but we dream to in the future.
